GYNAECOLOGIC SURGERY
Gynaecologic surgery may be performed to treat pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and remove uterine fibroids and polyps. POP occurs when one of the organs in the pelvic floor protrudes into the vaginal wall. This can cause abnormal bleeding, lower back pain, painful intercourse, urinary incontinence and other painful symptoms. Dr. Adelasoye uses surgery to rebuild the pelvic floor. When necessary, he can also perform hysterectomies and endometriosis surgeries.
